Nice to see Lee starting.

Dusty must've put Neifi in front of him so he won't feel pressured to try 100% if there were men on base. Just get him a few ABs with the bases empty and ease him back into it.

Sub in Jones for Marby and Pierre for Pagen and put Piere at the top and Hairston at the bottom and I think you have a starting line up and batting order for about 50 to 60 games this year. More if Walker is traded.

Days w/out ronny make me sad!

At least we have Murton to root for!

I know its still fairly early spring training....well...maybe not fairly early anymore...but I'd sure like to see our everyday starting line up all out there together, in the spots where they'd hit in the regular season, sometime soon....

Watching the RSxox/Twins. Lohse pitched well. Didn't the Cubs have him? Was he part of the Aquilera deal?

Yep! Drafted by the Cubs in 1996.

Mariners 1st:

Vina grounds out to Lee unassisted

Bloomquist walks and steal second.

Ibanez singles to left, scoring Bloomquist.

Petagine strikes out and Ibanez is caught stealing.

1-0 Mariners

According to the ESPN2 crawl, Cubs are down 1-0 in the top of the first. Although I think it's been the top of the first for about an hour.

Thanks, Bruce.

That brings back all those good memories from 2005. Let's just hope Ramirez can keep up his near 1.600 OPS.
