Jason DuBois = 32AB .537 .688 .406

From everything I've read he will be sent down regardless of what he does this Spring because the team wants a lefthanded bat (even though he's out slugging Todd Hollandsworth).

if i was the creature, i would HATE holla. dude is always in his way.

I still have hope the creature will be a major league hitter.

Is he going to be an everyday guy or 4th OFer?

I see him splitting time in the OF and DH.

I seem to remember him out performing Hollandsworth before and not getting that much of a chance.

really? what more can the guy do?

Well, they have Jason Michaels and Casey Blake already in the mix. Hollandsworth is standing in his way.

This game mercifully ends. Guillen really wanted to win this game; he brought in McCarthy, Cotts, and Jenks to close out their all important 4 win of the Spring... Edited by Blueheart05

I was wrong to be looking forward to this.

Well at least we got to see a few youngsters. First time I have ever seen Pie in an actual game, so that was fun at least.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It just gets a bit depressing when the Cubs lose to the Sox (or anyone, for that matter). I think I saw Pie in an ST game earlier.... no matter, the point I'm making, it would have been nice if the Sox announcers didn't call him Pie. (Like 3.141.....)

Well I dont think they are too intelligent anyways. Yeah it would have been nice to see a more competitive game that we were actually in.

Yeah it's always better to have that crappy left bat instead of a productive righty. I don't understand some teams logic and it's obvious that it's not just Baker and Hendry that do these types of things.

What I'm pissed about is WE should have feilded a more competitive team. Why can't WE want to beat the sox [deleted] when we face them in ST?

Why not feild: Murton, Barret, DLee, Sing. And for heavens sake, skip Rusch during the rival ST games.

get rid of grissom already.

I must've missed something... why do you say that?

Nothing happened. Grissom was 1 for 3. I think he just wants Grissom elimated from making the team...

Grissom needs to learn when to let go, he is barely effective anymore and is just holding a roster spot hostage from a young guy trying to break through to the pros. I mean isnt it enough that he was at one time a good established pro but now he had to accept a non-invite st roster spot??? Then again I would probably try to hang on to long as well, cant beat getting up everyday and playing some baseball...but still!

am i the only one real suspicious about older players that perform and the scarlet "s"? is it bad that i assume like that? most people that are mediocre in their peak, don't stay as good as mediocre in the late 30's, early 40's i don't think
