I just got my note saying no tickets for me....

From Cubs.com:

Thank you for registering for a chance to purchase tickets for a future Cubs home game. Unfortunately your entry was not selected for this Dugout, Bullpen or Bleacher Box Seat ticket offer.

Please be aware that these tickets could still become available later this week and we will notify you if there is another opportunity for you to purchase them.

Thank you again for your participation.

You could still get a second chance opportunity, which I think about half of the people who registered last year received, and be able to purchase tickets to most games except the most popular ones.

I got in for 11 a.m. CT (the second time slot). Does anyone know how much was left after the 10 a.m. slot? I'd like to try for weekend tickets.

I completely forgot to register for the chance to win, but my girlfriend signed herself up and got the 2pm CT time slot for us. I seriously think I have the coolest girlfriend ever. :D

How does it work anyway? With the late time slot am I pretty much guaranteed to not get any of the good games or do they release new tickets for each time slot?

Just got my email saying Im in @ the 2:00pm time.

I think the way it worked before is its a first come first serve basis, but they spread the winners out throughout the day so most of the games won't be sold out. Chances are the weekend games will be close to being sold out by the 2:00 time frame. I dont have a date in mind, I will be happy with whatever day I can get.

The e-mail reads: "You may purchase up to four tickets for one game and all sales are final."

Does this mean you can only by for tickets for one game only, or does it mean you can buy 4 tickets a game but for multiple games? I'm guessing (hoping) it is only 4 tickets per person max, seeing as this is a lottery of sorts probably done to discourage/disable ticket brokers. Therefore, I'm hoping there'll still be plenty of tix at 2.

My entry wasn't selected.

I'll give 2 free SRO tickets to a Cubs Cards game at Busch to whoever purchases 2 dugout box seats for me! Anyone interested?

So, does anyone think White Sox tickets will still be available at 11?

Are there one-hour windows? Log in right at 11. A friend of mine won last year and wasn't able to log in until several hours after his window and still ended up with front-row home plate seats for a Sunday night Astros game.

People miss their windows and some want the experience of the seats ... but not on a prime date. Obviously the White Sox seats will go quickly, but I like your chances. It's all 3 categories of seats, right?

My girlfriend and I were both selected, however on Wednesday we'll be in the process of traveling back to Chicago from Phoenix. She's slotted at noon and I at 3. Our flight leaves at 3 AZ time, so it looks like we won't have the opportunity to buy some tickets until we get back (unless Sky Harbor has free internet).

I'm thinking about asking my mother. The problem then becomes A) her using a computer, and B) trusting her to get good seats for good games.

Worth a shot. If she ends up getting tickets for a game I can't make, I'm sure SOMEONE will want them.

Well, if you're still in the airport and not on the plane, you could be on a cell phone with her and coach her through the process.

I got in at 11 am last year and the red sox, cardinals and white sox series were all gone for 4 tickets.. the white sox series did have some single tickets I believe. Should be more available this year with the bleacher box seats now open.. Good luck to all who got in.
