on frame by frame he looked like he left early. what he called I think, is that he turned his body early but his foot was still on the bag.

If they saw it, and they were absolutely sure of it, they'd have called it first up.

And unless you saw it and you're absolutely sure of it, you can't make a call like that.

 

Because that's never called, and because the guy was safe at the plate by a mile, and he'd have gained no advantage by leaving a fraction of a second early, which he didn't.
