Grissom flied out to right field

Mabry doubled to center field

Murton grounded to short, 6-3, Mabry holding second

Mabry took third on a wild pitch

Soto, pinch hitting for Reyes, doubled off the right field wall, Mabry scored

Pierre singled into right center field, Soto scored

Pierre caught stealing

 

2 runs, 3 hits, 0 errors, 0 men left on base

I'm listening. It's 8-5 Padres. THe Riot just had a rbi single. Neifi had a pop up double earlier in the inning. The fielder lost in in the sun I think.

Anyone have some info on this Wells guy? I haven't heard of him.

 

Randy Wells, former catcher who was converted to pitcher. He has both started and relieved and was at high-A and double A last year. Should probably start at AA, I think he has the potential to be a solid big league closer.

 

Has a low-90s FB, slider and change.

Just joined the broadcast and I read the comments on the announcers. Its Ted Lightner (sp?) and Tim Flannery. Ted also has an afternoon talk show. His voice is a perfect reflection of what kind of guy he is. Very pompous and full of himself. Cocky and selfish were words created just to describe this guy. One of the lasting images I have of him is during Jerry Coleman's (his radio partner) HOF induction speech, Jerry thanked him and he stood up, waved around and didn't sitdown right away so Jerry had to wait to continue. His talk show is even worse. Its all SD politics and mostly wrong at that. The guy is incredibly bad.

 

But at least SD TV has Matt Vasgursian. Remember he was the guy that was set to replace Chip before Len. Matt is a great guy and occansionally (meaning like 5 times a year it seems) fills in on talk show radio and is hilarious. Its too bad we can't get more Matt

Wow! Canada is winning 5-0 Vs. USA in the bottom in the bottom of the 3rd inning. Willis didn't fair too well today.

I think Pagan may play himself into a bench role. I was talking with some Met's fans and they said he can flat out fly!

He's definately got speed on his side, hopefully he can really come around as a hitter.
