Who's winning?

The Bears.

Beautiful.

I told Adam (EightyTwo), "I guarantee someone will post the Bears." It's not like he thought of that on his own.

Ok, ok, you get an assist.

Ah. I was kind of amazed anyone here would step into that one. makes sense.

Brian Boehringer has given up solo shots to Nevin and Dellucci in the 6th, score is now 3-2 Texas.

Boehringer needs to have a WHIP of under 1 if he wants to make this team this spring.

Even if he does that, he has no chance of making this team.

Maybe. I'm sure the injury bug will hit someone before Opening Day and a spot will open up.

That spot will likely go to either Novoa or Ohman, whoever doesn't make the team otherwise.

I assume Baker is going to go with 12 pitchers. Novoa might need to be sent down unless he's out of options. I agree that it's a huge longshot that Boe could even make the team but if he threw incredibly well I think he would have a shot.

Anyone know if Lee or Barrett really are coming back on offdays for the Cubs during the WBC? I never saw if they decided that or not

Buck Martinez denied that request.

Pie with an outfield assist!

Bryan Corey with an ERA! just kidding. even in this loss, there are alot of things to like. just looking at the boxscore, I like

Perez sucking (while I don't like any Cub sucking, I think we can all agree we want him relegated to the bench. if it takes a .100 spring ave. to do so, so be it)

Pagan impressing

Restovick with a dinger (and 2 Ks though)

Walker with a hit and a walk

EPatt debuting (I was wondering if he was in camp this year)

Mabry a good day in his debut

Murton and Cedeno with basehits

Dempster in for the third. Walks Wilkerson. Brown flies out and Blalock singles. Nevin grounds into a 5-3 double play as your guy Neifi makes a deft play snag the ball, step on the bag and fire.

he saved the third inning!

Just like he saved last year for the Cubs!

For all the joking, people seem to forget that Neifi really DID save the Cubs.
