If it's alright, I guess I will go next, since I missed my turn at first.

That's fine with me. I'll let ya go, then I'll go after you.

Fair enough?

Hey! The rotation isn't very up-to-date. It still has Tobias as the current starter. It should be Flames24Rulz's turn.

So the motion to move the Fri / Sat game thread starts to midnight carries with a vote of 2 in favor and 3,330 abstentions.

I'm in favor as well.

So that means the game threads for the Saturday and Sunday games have until midnight Central time but the other days have until 9pm Central time the night before?

Just a question as to how the line works. (looks like I'm getting closer) but how does it work when Soccer10k is ahead of me but he/she just started a thread recently?

No arguing intended. I just don't get how it works? I think it was a spot start. So if you are the starter and win, you go again. If you loose you go back to the bottom of the line?

If you're the starter, you go again, if you lose, you rejoin the line at the bottom.

I'd have to look at the standings, but I think that soccer10K spot-started a thread for someone. If a thread isn't up by midnight on a weekend, anyone can spot-start it for whoever is supposed to start it.

Oh so since it was 1:00 a.m. before the next thread had started, I could have spot started tonite? Not meaning to take any starts away from anybody.

Yes, but fortunately Uber was here to continue his streak.

If someone knows they might be late but will start the thread, they can just post here ahead of time and we'll try to respect that (especially if there's a win streak at stake).

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that people are more antsy to spot start than usual. When someone has a winning streak going, it's important to respect the streak, even if it means the thread is a little late.

If we just lost, then jump at the spot start as it doesn't matter in that case.

Mine was indeed a spot start but was after a loss.

I know that ndistops waited (as he stated in the thread) until 3 AM CT which would be three hours after the midnight CT deadline. I'm not trying to instigate an argument, but I would hardly call that being antsy.

I started my thread right after midnight CT only because Treeman had been MIA for two days and nobody was sure where he was. Had he said something at any point during the day 6/6, I wouldn't have started the thread.

I know this wasn't a personal attack on either myself or ndistops but I just figured I would explain.

EDIT: Whenever you get a chance, update my record to 0-1 Serena. Not that I'm proud of the loss but I have to take it.
