He met her at a country western bar in Cedar Falls when he was playing at UNI. Needless to say, Cedar Falls isn't a hotbed for hot women.

She's not nearly as bad looking as some here would make her out to be. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that she probably looks pretty darn good when not wearing some mutant jersey and attending a football game. I'm sure most people here would kick her out of bed for eating crackers.

That might be the coaching call of the year. I remember thinking before the play that a fake would probably work just because it would be completely unexpected, but it's one thing for a guy sitting on his couch to think it, and a whole other ballgame to actually call it with the game on the line. But think about it... if he kicks, they pin Uga back but their defense is very porous, and Uga has plenty of time to at least get in FG range, if not score a TD. Meanwhile, if you run the fake, you run the risk of costing your defense about 30 yards in field position, but if it works, the game is essentially over.

 

I dunno how committed Rich Rodriguez is to WVU, but if I were a team from one of the other major conferences, I'd throw a buttload of money at him and see if he bit. His current contract is under a million a year, and considering what many of the other top flight coaches are making, he could stand to double that. WVU will have to up the ante to keep him in Morgantown, IMO.

 

Rodriguez is a West Virginia Grad so I doubt he will leave but a team like Michigan could throw him a ton of cash to go there and I'm sure it would be tempting. I do not see him ever leaving for any second tier team in any conference.

I'm pretty proud of the way the Big East played in the bowls. 1-3 but every game was close and I think Louisville would have won if they had their starting QB in there. Not bad for the first year and it's only going to get better.

Hunter Cantwell did a great job for Louisville...he's about as tough as they come. What a way to step up in a pressure situation.

 

And Marcus Vick is a punk with absolutely no class. How can everyone in the world see him stomp his cleat into Dumervil's calf but none of the officials did? What a loser......

Jimmy Williams was also a first class ass for bumping the ref (intentionally) and then crying like a little girl on the sideline. I was seriously rooting for Louisville to win...

But yeah, Notre Dameis a good team, but they have been getting pumped up by the media all year. Everyone wants to see an unbeatable Irish team so much that they try to make one that isn't into one. I think that will be further proved when Texas wins.

Vick got kicked off the team before for braking the law. VTech allows up to 3 arrests before your kicked off the team for good. 5 if you're a starter.

 

Next year is going to be very competitive for the Championship game. WV isn't losing anyone and I think they and LSU should be in the mix too. I think it might depend on who has the weakest schedule.

 

What year is Leak? I think that might be a weak spot for Florida next year if he leaves. Yeah, that system wasn't really great for him but he was a pretty good QB.

Didn't Fitzgerald leave after his sophmore year? There was some loophole that allowed him to enter the draft. I think he went to a prep school for his senior year.

I don't know if it was his senior year or his "5th" high school year. Either way though, Ginn didn't do that, he was a public HS guy all the way through.

I surprised more of the analysts are not talking about the USC/ND and Texas/Ohio St comparisons. Both of those games were pretty close and Texas winning in Columbus is a pretty tough task. I have a funny feeling Texas will match up pretty well with USC and may win by more than 10.
