I'm watching this Virginia vs Minny bowl game and I'm wondering how they make money doing this when no one is at the game?

 

By the way they lost the audio and it's wonderful to just listen to the band and PA guy.

 

Darn....ESPN broke in and now Reese Davis and crew are doing play by play. :x

 

Why in Gods Green Earth did I post this here? This Grissom thing really has effected me.

I guess he made the right choice and went to USC and not Syracuse.

 

Update: Rice 143 yards, Mizzou 89

 

Luckily Mizzou continues it's uncanny ability to get turnovers defending their own goal line and gets a 98 yard INT return. 21-7 with USC threatening.

3 quarters of no offense. It's going to take more than just 1 quarter of great offense to have a chance to win. Playcalling and execution have been terrible all around. UCLA knows exactly what's coming and Dunbar hasn't tried to change it up at all. Of course, the offensive line hasn't really allowed much to happen, anyways.

Wow, Mizzou has looked like crap today!

 

It could be a lot worse. I figured after they scored 3 TDs on their first 3 possessions the halftime score would be at least 49-7. If we can mount a drive to open the second half we could be in good shape.

 

IF SOMEONE WOULD COVER RICE I'D BE HAPPY THX

I dont know wtf theyre thinking either.

 

The pass interference call, I could go either way on. The one that I thought was mindblowingly terrible was the "AD fumble at the goal line" where he was stopped, rolled completely over, and then had the ball stripped. No way he wasn't already down.

 

Oh well, a win is a win is a win.

 

Slight disagreement, Nike only makes the uni, I'm sure they're not in the business of telling college teams what uniforms to wear. Nike makes uniforms for lots of different schools and none of them look as awful as those.

 

Actually Nike does determine what uniform they will wear. It is part of the contract, IIRC. Same thing with VT, and the hideous nike uniforms they had earlier this year.

After what looks like a cheapshot...Smith has taken a lot of those this season.

 

Time to fire up the Chase Connection.

 

With that 5'10 DB or whatever on Coffman, I'd throw to him 2 or 3 times a series.

 

I take back the cheapshot comment, btw...looking at it again it was clean and the injury didnt even come on that play.

This is really embarrassing.

 

On behalf of myself, Mizzou, and CPatt, we feel your pain.

You don't have a top-ranked offense that scored ONE touchdown all game. And that was on a short field.

Again, I hate you, Howells.

 

man i feel for my friend. He goes to church with Joel (Joel lives in a neighboring town) and pretty much the only reason he likes NU is because of Joel. An awful day for him and for Northwestern so far.

Yeah, I've heard he's pretty religious. But he's had all season to figure out how to kick the ball higher and simply hasn't done it.

 

The defense has given up 36 points, with one of the touchdowns coming on a short field, but also scored 2 touchdowns. That means all the offense had to do was put up more than 22 points on the 111th ranked defense. Instead, they hit an early FG and a TD run on a short field in the first quarter. They added a FG later and that's been it. Horrible.
