    :lol: I don't know about you guys, but I'm enjoying watching Pie, Fontenot, and Theriot play over our mediocre and overpaid veterans.

    funny how when murton can't hit for beans, everyone says it's because he's not getting regular playing time... when jones can't hit, it's because he flat-out sucks. Murton has sucked all year, I'm not going to deny that, but you know exactly what you are getting in Jones and that isn't much. His throws are all over the place, he can't hit lefties and he K's way too much. Granted, Murton drops easy balls in the OF but if I were to choose between the two I would pick Murton. I actually think Floyd is outplaying both of them right now and gives us the best chance to win. Someone also mentioned DeRosa in RF, that doesn't sound too bad either.

    Yesterday was a heartbreaker, good to see the team rebound and get a W. Z was looking good from the get go.

    I'm hoping for the day that Jones and Izturis are out of here. Both are terrible.

    Do it and see if LIdge is available in your league as he will be the closer soon. I already made the move and picked up Lidge in all of my leagues.

    I'm glad to see the young guys come up and play. Considering how bad our production RF has been for us, I have to agree with your lineup. It probably gives us the best chance to win.

    He's been looking much better as of late. A couple more quality outings and I'll be a believer again. He also did hit 98 on the gun :)

    Izturis brings nothing to the table. It's a joke he's still here. His bat is terrible and his defense is lacking.

    Um, lets add it up. Exhibit A: This weekend with Hudson and Renteria. Exhibit B: Giles taking out Prior and ending his career. Exhibit C: Fick and his cheap shot during the 2003 playoff game. What do you need for a rivalry? Sounds like we need to start retaliating. So far we haven't.

    from what i have read today he is projected to be a .290-.310 hitter with 35-40 homer power Yeah, maybe if you total up two seasons. i've seen him play every day and he has 40 homerun power. i don't care what stats you use. That's good to hear. This is the guy who I wanted the Cubs to draft, so I'm happy.
