Considering it was Hendry and his approach toward players, I think it is unlikely that Hendry would trade Walker based on the extreme discount he signed with us at. That is, unless, someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse, or if Walker agreed to be traded to certain teams. Walker asked the Cubs to decline the option if they had plans on trading him, stating that he'd like to be able to choose where he plays next year if the Cubs didn't want him. I can definitely see Hendry honoring his request. Maybe, but at the end it still is a request and it can be denied if necessary. Walker is a good trading chip right now. I'm nto against Walker being here, i actually think he's good but it will all depend on what direction Hendry takes.
