    Despite how this season has transpired, I’m sad that this is the last week of Cubs baseball. Even with a crap roster, I still love the Cubs. And I still feel better about wins than losses. Looking forward to going back to following the MiLB teams for at least the next few years. Excited to see how some of these guys develop. May even drive up to Phoenix to see a AZ Fall League game or two.

    Well, the end is almost here. Another dinger, this one in the first inning, and the Cubs down early. But they’re already mounting a comeback.

    Willy framing like he’s catching batting practice. Doesn’t seem to be much effort thru the first 5 batters.

    Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Game 6 of the WS, thus forcing a Game 7.

    The betting market isn’t even offering him at 250:1 to win, so I don’t think he’s a realistic candidate. Max Scherzer is -260 Forgot about Scherzer, he’s a shoo-in. I don’t think Wainright wins but he would be “a” front runner I’d imagine, along with Max, Walker and Julio. Dodger rotation as usual is pretty filthy.

    Cubs battle in the 9th, but come up a run short with tying run in scoring position.

    Adam Wainright is 16-7 with a 2.89 ERA. How is this possible??? Is he a Cy front runner? Certainly he’s a candidate.

    Paul Allen has some doozies!! This call. The Favre interception against the Saints. The Cards TD on the last play of the regular season which knocked them out of the playoffs. Good times!!
