    Crazy Coors at it again. Brewers rolling along, up 6-0. Rocks have 2 hits through 5 innings. In the 6th, they get 6 hits, 4 HRs, score 6 runs and tie the game. It just aboslutely sucks to be in pitcher in that stadium.

    I'm not certain better starting pitching would've helped win any of the first 3 games after only scoring 7 total runs. Unless, of course, you mean dominant pitching.

    Went to Game 2 off Ole Miss / Arizona in the Tucson Super Sectional last night. Thought I’d cheer on the local team. Admittedly, don’t know much about college baseball, don’t really follow it. But a few observations: -watched the Rebels pitcher warm up. He looked scared/uneasy. Thought he would get rocked. Couldn’t be farther from what actually happened. Doug Nikhazy is an All American junior and looks to be a second round prospect. He dominated but threw a lot of pitches. AZ fouled off a lot of pitches, but struggled to put the ball in play. Nikhazy had about 10-12 Ks in 4 2/3 innings. Really stymied the ‘cats. Guess he outmatched Kumar Rocker earlier in the year. -Arizona pitcher got blasted. Seemed like everything hit by Ole Miss was a rocket, even the outs. And this guy (Garrett Irvin) is their top pitcher apparently. -Freshman lead off hitter for the Rebs has some really nice ABs including a rocket line drive HR to lead off the game. He also took a full count outside pitch and punched it out into left center for a couple of RBI. Kid might be a player. -Nothing else off real note other than Ole Miss has a 10 run lead in the 8th and has a pinch runner straight steal. Thought that was odd. Hope Arizona wins tonight….Go ‘cats!! Bear down!!

    Pitching matchup going in favored the Padres. Offensive lineup favored the Padres. This was not a game I thought the Cubs would win. Good effort all around save the unearned run.

    Looks like the first 6 batters have swung at about 10 pitches well out of the zone. Maybe a little less aggressive early in the count would help.

    Just now read this (very short) game thread from page 1. Nice win, nice sweep. Only other comment is the above quote really is an indictment of the roster. Sad.

    I feel bad for Kyle Hendricks. Cubs will probably get shutout tomorrow.

    I don’t think there’s really a question, you should always get relief from a fairway divot. It makes no sense why you shouldn’t. Just get the standard club length that doesn’t put you closer to the hole/improve the lie (going from rough to fairway). Treat a divot like a sprinkler head if the ball is in it. But what constitutes a divot? When does an old divot become regular fairway? This is exactly why I try to avoid the fairways when I golf. Land in a divot and you’re screwed....big time. I don’t know that I’ve ever found myself hitting out of a divot in the long grass.

    Th\ere are plenty of starting QBs in the NFL worse than Goff. Maybe the Lions thonk they can build around him.

    Haven't been able to see too many Bears games this season, so will Fuller shadow Adams? Or does he primarily play one side of the field?

    I was at that game too! SIU had a lead in the second quarter if I remember correctly. I think they were up 17-3. And then Howard took over

    I refuse to believe he couldn't get a cramp worked out on the bench. IF they had to take his pants off, put him in the tent. They have everything the sidelines except X-rays and toilets. Lamar had to horsefeathers. The internet has spoken! Oh, I definitely think he cramps - stomach cramps. And I believe he didn't go back to the locker room to take a sh!t. Judging from the way they showed him walking, I think he already took a sh!t. Like in his drawers. He [expletive] himself. And he had to go back to the locker room for a fresh pair of undies armor shorts and pants.
