    Happ has horrendous career numbers against Mahle, Bauer and Gray coming into this series. He's had a great season so far, but again, zero career success against those three. Well, so far in the series he's 0-9 and put the ball in play twice. Maybe start someone else in his place at least one of these games.

    White Sox give up 2 in the 8th and 1 in the 9th, lose to the hapless Bucs 5-4.

    Nicky with a horrendous AB there. Swung at 3 sliders off the plate, very wide. Nice comeback for Mills with a GIDB after a leadoff single and then getting Nick after a double and a BB.

    Cards were down 2-0 in bottom of the 3rd. They have scored 5 runs, still have bases loaded and have 2 hits in the game/inning.

    Yanks were up 6-2 on the BJs going into the bottom of the 6th. And then thee BJs put a 10 spot on the board and now lead 12-6. The Yanks are injured....and a mess.

    I'd bring Hamilton up tomorrow and start him against the Reds for a couple of games. You could really sit any of the three starters in the OF, although Schwarbs hits Mahle pretty well. But Happ and Heyward have been absolute trash against the Reds projected starters. Combined, those two are: 2/30 against Mahle 0/20 against Bauer 2/18 against Gray ========== 4 for 68 and that's trash Give Hamilton a shot against his old team. Bat him 9th and make him bunt at least once each of the 3 games. Really couldn't be worse than what the recent lineups have produced.

    Games are fun when the Cubs score runs. Games are fun when the pitching pitches well. Games are fun when the Cubs are winning.

    Billy Hamilton should try to bunt for a hit at least once a game (that he starts).

    Must be tough trying to fill out the lineup each game. Happ Bryant Rizzo Baez Schwarber Contreras DH Caratini Maybin Kipnis Heyward with a sore throat, fever, heavy chest and loss of smell; Ross says he should be back in the lineup in a day or two.
