  1. NFL got what they wanted for Week 18, and especially the late games.
  2. Love, in his few opportunities, hasn’t really shown much. If AR leaves and they go with Love, they’ll need an experienced backup. AR will have to decide if he wants to be the highest paid player in the league or one of the highest. If he demands to be the highest paid, gonna make it tough for GB to retain many of their key players.
  3. Is there more than the dad that has a WR son (St. Brown boys) on both teams? There was a lady, maybe from the same fam? Pretty sure you were seeing their mother. She’s German. Dad was Mr. Universe in ‘81 & ‘82(John Brown).
  4. Is there more than the dad that has a WR son (St. Brown boys) on both teams?
  5. Looks like Boomer was pranked. Panties in a bundle over nothing.
  6. Retrieved from A Charlie Brown Christmas: "I guess you were right, Linus. I shouldn't have picked this little tree," said Charlie Brown. "Everything I do turns into a disaster. I guess I don't really know what Christmas is all about. Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?" "Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about," said Linus. [Linus walks to center stage.] "Lights, please." And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. --Book 42, Luke (002:08-14) The Bible, King James Version [Linus picks up his blanket and shuffles off-stage.]
  7. Thought the cap was only your top 53 players. So after the top 53, can’t you spend minimum/vet minimum on any amount of additional players?
  8. I like Illinois and root for the Big Ten in general (except Michigan). Since coming out to the Tucson area, I’ve sort of adopted the Arizona Wildcats as a team to root for. This year’s team is looking really, really good. They are one of the biggest/tallest teams in the NCAAs and have several shooters. The absolutely manhandled Michigan a couple of weeks ago, and today knocked off a very good Illini in Cham-bana. Excited to watch them in PAC-12 play.
  9. Aren't the Jets and Lions on the list annually?
  10. I think he just got his arm stuck in a giant piece of strawberry cake. So he should be fine once he gets a fork. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
  11. The wind was insane. On consecutive possessions Buffalo missed a 33 yard FG into the wind and NE punted the ball 72 yards with the wind. I don’t know why, but that made me laugh hysterically.
  12. Iowa is sitting right there. Also Wyoming and Air Force come to mind. I can’t say Wyoming has ever come to mind for to me anything Josh Allen, seventh overall pitch in the 1st Round of the. 2018 NFL Draft. A few spots behind Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold,a few spots in front of Josh Rosen yikes, and ahead of Lamar Jackson.
  13. Vikings - SKOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!
  14. Bucs have run 22 offensive plays in first two series. They’ve passed 19 times. Don’t quite get that. Arians trying to get Brady an MVP is my guess.
  15. Looks like the Bears signed FA Edge Rusher Bruce Irvin. Link After Mercilus went down with a torn bicep, and Gary hyperextended his elbow, Bruce Irvin was a FA I thought might have some gas left in the tank for the Packers to consider. Especially for about half a season. He's coming off a torn ACL, but he did have 8 1/2 sacks two seasons ago. Might end up being a good pick up. The worst that can happen is the Bears cut him if he's ineffective.
  16. That's funny!!! =D> Don't know what the hell I was looking at?!?!?
  17. Who stole from who? If it's a fugazi, does it matter who stole from whom?? Packers are 3-1 in the past 4 years coming out of the bye. I mean, you have to go all the way back to last season to find out how incorrect the statement was, but....
  18. I don't think Love was bad, but I also don't think he did anything to move the needle on whether or not he's the future. He seemed to be constantly under pressure, even when Spags didn't blitz. Thought the OLIne, specifically the interior, played pretty poorly in pass pro. They should have Bakhtiari at LT starting next week. That moves Elgton Jenkins to LG giving that side of the line two Pro Bowlers. Also thought LaFleur didn't really help Love out much with his playcalling. Maybe he was limited too much with JL at QB, but he had no answer for the blitzing. Would've liked to have seem him move the pocket, maybe call a few more screens. They weren't gonna run the table, and it is an AFC road loss. But I think they win going away if AR started. Hopefully he's back against Seattle next week.
  19. I'm certainly not anti-short by any means. But why the hell doesn't Ken Rosenthal carry around an egg crate or soapbox for crying out loud?!?!?
  20. I wanted to read that entire post above. I really did. Couldn’t do it though. Tried to, but started skimming about a third of the way through. Finished by reading the last couple of sentences.
  21. Was at the game. Corner of the end zone, field level, about 20 rows up from the game ending INT. Pretty amazing to see in person. Don't know how it sounded on TV, bit there were sooooo many Packers fans in the stadium. It was incredibly loud with GB support throughout the game. And the ending was glorious!!!
  22. That's pretty cool to hear. Congrats on the stellar picks. Hope you win big (with the Braves).
  23. wrong. institute the pitch clock. The 3 batter minimum will fix everything. Disregard the fact that teams are setting records for the number of pitchers used. Maybe limit the number of pitchers on the postseason roster. With there never being more than 2 games in a row, managers can basically six or seven pitchers each game (and they do).
  24. Call me crazy, but isn’t there “intent” in every check swing to actually swing the bat? And the “intent” to swing is then followed by the “intent” not to actually swing? I mean seriously, the ump is looking for intent??? Dumber than dumb.
