    To be fair, starting and inning with a man on 2nd immediately puts the "closer" in a precarious situation not his fault. As seen, some weak contact and a run can still score.

    More stellar defense by the WS further emphasizes Ortega's sh!ttty approach his last AB.

    Thought that was a pretty bad AB by Ortega. Even though he took some good pitches for balls and worked the count full, I think his approach was off. He looked like he was swinging for the fences every time he swung at a pitch. Man on third and less than 2 outs, he's gotta be thinking contact. Put the ball in play and odds are they score, especially given the Sox less-than-stellar defense. Big disappointment.

    White Sox DFA Keuchel. If I read it correctly, they eat his $18.5 million for the remainder of the season unless they swing a trade or he's claimed. But it saves them to $20 million for next season since I don't believe he's vested.

    A win and you win the series. A loss and you split versus a rotten team. And it would probably mean the second of four consecutive losses because they don’t beat the Sox.
