  1. I often like the in-game dugout interview. I like Cubs' rallies. Even the fake ones. I do not like dugout interviews during rallies.
  2. Suzuki set up horribly on the FO to right. Probably every other player in MLB, including tubbyTM Villar, scored on that.
  3. Not to splice hairs, but I believe it's tubbyTM Villar.
  4. Keegan looks pretty good to start. Wonder how many innings Rossy lets him go if he continues to throw well.
  5. Vargas in tonight's lineup "holding down" the SS position.
  6. Yeah it looks like he’s still hurting Late in the game, maybe the 7th, he fielded one somewhat dep at SS and fired a laser to first base. Wonder if the arm is there, but he's holding back when he can. Sort of preserving it until he's in better game shape armm-wise.
  7. Dillon Peters was probably gonna only pitch 2-3 innings anyway (instead of 2/3). But the Cubs ambush him for 4 hits, a Bb, 4 runs (so far), and he hits the showers. Grand Slam just now by Willy and it’s 8 zip!!!!!
  8. Bases loaded, one out in the bottom of the 8th, and the Reds' pitcher induces a GB to the second baseman. Easy double play to get out of the inning, right? Nope. Second baseman has trouble getting ball out of his glove, gets guy at 2nd, but Hayes beats throw to 1st. Run scores. Reds get the no-hitter but lose.
  9. 118 pitches for Greene, but he's just given up btb walks in the 8th. Gets yanked with no hits allowed after 7 1/3.
  10. Did these announcers win a contest to get to call the game? They're not very good.
  11. Link to the ballgame Just need an AppleID.
  12. And Detmers gets the No-No!!!!
  13. The Halos Reid Detmers has a no-no through 8 innings. Trout uncorks a 2-run shot in the bottom of the inning of of the Rays position player Brett Phillips. After an Ohtani line drive double off the RF wall, Anthony Rendon comes up to the plate....and decides to bat left-handed (1st time in his career). With a 2-0m count, Rendon crushed one to right center for a 2-run bomb. 12-0 Angels. Take that Javy!
  14. Steele got jobbed on the 2-2 pitch to Muncy, and then walked him.. Should be out of the inning with 0 runs scored.
  15. Second free agency period starts after June 1. There will be more players available.
  16. I think that's a really smart move when you need picks. In these later rounds, so many of the draft grades of players are the same so it becomes even more of a crapshoot. More picks late mean more opportunity to find a nugget.
  17. https://sports.yahoo.com/orioles-ace-john-means-to-undergo-tommy-john-surgery-after-breakout-season-163637371.html John Means....we hardly knew ya'.
  18. He is an absolute butcher Tim Anderson thinks your assessment is a bit too harsh.
  19. Looks like he probably tore his right hammy.
  20. i swear i was like jed and who?? I still am
  21. And Darvish pulled after 6 with a no-hitter (92 pitches)
  22. Guessing he wants his 3 best hitters getting the most plate appearances.
  23. MLB TV for 50% off (sort of), but a big discount, nonetheless. Found an article from TechHive about a way to get MLB TV at a big discount. Here's the link to the article TechHive MLB TV Hidden Discount Basically, you can get a membership with the MLB Players' Alumni Association for $25 bucks. This allows you a %50 discount for MLB TV among a variety of other discounts. MLB TV is currently $139.99, but with a %50 discount, it's $70.00. Add the $25 from the MLBPAA and it's $95, still a really nice discount. I signed up and immediately got an email from "Jim Thome" thanking me, yada yada yada and a link to the 50% off deal. Followed the link and re-started my MLB TV subscription. Sure as sh!t, immediately got an email from MLB Subscriptions thanking me for my purchase (showing the $70 discount). Went to MLB TV and was already logged in (from last year) showing me I was signed up for the 2022 season. Apparently you can get MiLB TV for 50% off as well ($12.50 instead of $25), but I haven't tried yet.
  24. I like what Olsen has to say most of the time. My issue is how he says things. He makes points with a loud whisper. He'll talk in a normal voice and then when getting to the crux of his point will dial his voice down. Just spit it out, man.
  25. Don't know the exact rule, but I thought he actually step over/on (slightly) the center court line
