    He just realized Dusty tricked him into thinking Roark was starting.

    I saw his full presser on MLB network. Don't think this was shown on CSN.

    In the presser, a reporter asked Dusty if he thought about bringing in Kitzler to face Schwarber, noting that Madson has reverse splits against righties. Dusty, eyes glazed over, paused and then said, "no". I seriously think he doesn't know what "reverse splits" means. Then he said Kitzler throws low sliders, Schwarber likes low sliders, and he could hit a HR! A little later, a reporter asked if he considered walking Rizzo and pitching to Contreras. Dusty said that you can't put more runners on base in that situation. He is a brilliant manager.

    If you listen to these announcers, you'd swear the Cubs were one of the fastest teams in the league. According to them, all of them seem to be speedy!

    I'm out of town and can't watch CSN, but Plesac on MLBN is friggin' awesome. He is acting like he did when he was on locally. Big blue train conductor!! Woo wooooo!

    Question: don't know if this has been addressed in other threads, but has Addy altered his batting stance a little bit since coming back from DL? Something looks a little different. Like maybe he not standing as upright or open stanced.

    This may seem overly simplistic, but I think his bat is too big for him/his swing. Whether it's the length or weight or both, to the naked eye it just looks like he doesn't get the bat thru the hitting zone with much authority. His swing almost always seems a tick late. Wonder if choking up a bit (ala Rizzo) on the bat would help.

    Not too big a deal if Willy is suspended a game. Odds are he'll get a rest between now and clinching anyway. Anything more than a game could be problematic.

    Eddie J. gives up one in the 1st and five in the 2nd. Dodgers already up 6-0 oin bottom of 2nd. How does he still collect a paycheck??

    Oh look...Carlos Rodon is hurt again. Who's had the better career so far, Rodon or Schwarbs? Despite the warts, Schwarber, right?

    Now theyre gonna think they lost the division by 8 games because Nelson missed a month. That sucks but oh well. This would've never have happened if the game was played at the originally scheduled time!
