Anybody have any updates on Carson Sands? I know he was hurt and then sent down to Eugene. Is he hurt again?? He's be nothing short of a disaster over his last 4 appearances. Not getting the ball over the plate and getting shelled. Any ideas?

Yep. It's just crazy to see so many pitchers listed that high (for the Cubs, which isn't high in the overall lists). Hopefully a few of those guys can be productive in a Cubs' uniform. Or used to get productive pieces from other teams.

So subtracting Candy and Paredes, 8 of the top 10 Cubs' prospects are pitchers. :shock: Not that it means much, but when was the last time they were anywhere close to having that many pitchers in the Top 10 of their organization??

Explain please Len quizzes JD about player who's reached base the most via an error. JD doesn't know. Len gives multiple hints: happened against Cubs, very fast, stole 7 bases in series, broke his wrist. JD still with no guess. Len says, "Name is something you might serve dinner on..." JD guesses. :D

I believe Bryant would've been safe even if Yadi catches that particular throw. Even though KB's right leg went over the plate, his bent left leg still touches plate before Yadi applies the ball-less tag. Cubs win!

Knebel had a blown save 4 appearances ago against the Yanks. Nice to have another, but I prefer (L, BS) next to his name in the box score.

Are the SP replacements gonna make them hit better. Because they've been near the bottom basically the whole season, not to mention their constant struggles runner on third
