I call flyball out and Schwarbs gunned at home.

When did Justin Grimm become so awful. He was pretty decent when after the Cubs acquired him, right?
  3. PackLandVA
    Jon Jay? Martin? Too early?
  4. PackLandVA
Monty was out of the first in 9 pitches but for the passed ball by Avila. May have changed the scope of his start.

Oh look...Carlos Rodon is hurt again. Who's had the better career so far, Rodon or Schwarbs? Despite the warts, Schwarber, right?

Now theyre gonna think they lost the division by 8 games because Nelson missed a month. That sucks but oh well. This would've never have happened if the game was played at the originally scheduled time!

The Cubs FA version of Carl Crawford??

This evening has been brought to you by the letters G and B and the number 5.

Is this the first Lithuanian born player in MLB?

Not in the habit of quoting Schwarberfan, but I think Wilson gets left off any playoff roster the way things stand right now.
  11. PackLandVA
A dinger here and Wade would have a save opportunity in the 9th.

I think you're alone on #2. horsefeathers them. Yes, I am bitter. But I am relishing every minute of this after all the stupid articles about them being the best team ever. I hope they win 102 games, have a lower RD than the 2016 Cubs and then lose in the NLDS. #-o

Lester will a really nice job of salvaging a rocky start into a decent outing.

Dodgers are a complete mess right now!
  15. PackLandVA
    I prefer 'bert!
  16. PackLandVA
If that happens, then the cobs will only score a total of 5 runs in the next 4 games.
  17. PackLandVA
Cards already down in the first 1-0. Lance Lester threw 35 pitches to get thru 1 inning.

It's an absolute guarantee Maddon lets Jon pitch the 5th. He'll even let him give up a run or two.

Any team better at not scoring than the Cubs?? Seriously.

Would love to see Cole come out for the 9th and give up a dinger, preferably to Rizzo. But Happ or Avila would also be fine. Meh, just saw Hudson is in the game.

I think a few blasts of Fabreeze, the kind with Contreras scent, will help the putrid smell.

Green Bay Packers, an enduring legacy of hall of fame quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers, great or greatest? Don't be a hater!
  23. PackLandVA
Maybe Duke can do a write up of: -the case for Rizzo's MVP season -Wade Davis, Still perfect in Save Situations -Kris Bryant's amazing healing ability when injured -Theo Epstein builds winners who are built to last -The Cubs seize First Place and there's no looking back

Freeman makes outs even when he gets hits!

Only if someone farted! Fu-gee!! \:D/
