    Cubs don't traditionally play well in LA. Mets played on Tuesday, had to travel across country, play a night game on Thursday and then would have to travel across country again only to have to play again on Saturday. Both teams have great starters, but I think the Mets for pitchers would be more likely to wilt under pressure than the Dodger pitchers. Cubs have played well against the Mets this season. Payback for '69. Mets!

    Why does Joe insist on using Strop against the Cardinals? He's probably in after 1 batter by Richard or to start the 7th. Makes no sense...his career numbers against St. Louis are ATROCIOUS!!!!

    Don't know if it means too much due to sample size, but the Cubs probably lineup (not counting the Pitcher) is 26 for 81 against Gerrit Cole, and that's good for a .320 average.
