It's a weird thing. It was awful for me first thing in the morning but was fine once I got loosened up. And it wasn't every day either. Not that I was trying to play pro baseball, but I was running 50+ miles a week at the time. I'm a runner also, had plantar fasciitis for about six months last year. Like mul said, bad when I first got up in AM, but once loosened up, it was bearable Was able to continue running. It can go away with proper stretching/therapy. I haven't had any issues since last year.
