    Completely uncalled for. Don't do it again. Do what? I didnt attack him? Are you actually serious? Telling someone they are ignorant for no apparent reason is not welcome here. These game threads are out of control. I understand it's difficult to control emotions sometimes, but posts like yours do nothing for this site. If I had my choice, I would just lock up this game thread considering the behavior. It's absolutely embarrassing. I didnt call him ignorant. And quoting a post and adding nothing to it adds nothing to the site as well.

Since you're stuck on Murton's jock, you think it's wrong to say something when he makes a bad play. Why? Im not stuck on Murtons jock but hes better than Floyd and gives the Cubs a better chance to win. The anti Hill and Murton sentiment is just as bad as the people who praise them so like I said get real

    No, it was his fault yesterday until the offense and bullpen bailed him out for a crappy start. Yea Sorianos D helped him tons out there allowing 3 runs score that shouldnt have, but Im sure nobody will mention that.

    Care to explain why? Marshall needs a break. He's been awful for about a month now, and has been getting progressively worse over the past 2-3 months. Trachsel is bad, but not as bad as Marshall was in August. Marshall missing a couple starts may be a long term benefit, if he can come back refreshed. Sure is funny the stats seem to disagree with you. Marshall has allowed more than 3 er's twice in his last 10 starts, guess thats awful nowadays.

    You answered your own question, its cause of the Jerry Lewis telethon. I know telethons are for a good cause or whatever, but unless they're selling Cubs tickets, they should really be forced to work around the Cubs, not the other way around. Haha I agree but I also think my work, my son, etc... need to work around the Cubs also but they dont seem to think so lol.

    Yeah, to the best of my knowledge, that's been the only knock on Wuertz all along; his command. I dont think he trusts his fastball enough. I understand his slider is his "out" pitch, but he gets way to slider happy. Its usually not a strike so I think alot of smarter hitters go up there basically with no intention to swing knowing that the slider wont be a strike. His WHIP is high, thanks to that 9BB/9IP part, but his 13.50 K/9 has kept his ERA at a reasonable level over whatever stretch it is that Fred's numbers covered. He's having a rough stretch, but I think those numbers are good reason to believe the hardcore wuertz will be back someday, possibly sooner rather than later. I like Wuertz, but control has always been his biggest problem. Until he can harness that on a consistent basis, hes basically a 6th inning type guy. Its real hard to bring him in with runners on because of the walk probability. If he could cut that walk rate down, like I said, he would be as nasty as Marmol, ad be a good setup man and/or closer.
