USC is better than OK, and we all know how well Mizzou fared against OK. No they arent. Opinion changed at all? I still think OU and USC are around the same talent-wise. Could you be any more smug? bitter illini face Not at all. Nobody expected the Illini to win. Im glad we got there, and the future is very bright in Champaign. This is the beginning, certainly not the end. I dont see how anybody could watch that game and say USC wasnt a bunch of arrogant pricks. Did they score 1 td without taunting somebody, and drawing a unsportsman like penalty?

All I have to say is this Raisin... After watching the arrogant pricks from USC yesterday in the Rose Bowl, I really hope you guys get better soon, and start putting it to USC's ass. What a classless program, coach, etc...

Well Illinois lost like everybody expected. Am I pissed? Nope. The future looks bright for the Illini. Their D looked pretty good out there today, but when you are on the field the majority of the game you will give up big plays. Playcalling was horrendous today 3rd and long and we continued running screens the entire 1st half. Illinois shouldve went to McGee at some point. With that said Ive never seen a game where every single bounce went one way. It was truly amazing. Also, Ive never seen a group of more classlass arrogant prick bastards then USC. Wow

how is losing like 41-20 shocking the nation? god come on. you're like the only illinois fan who seriously thinks they will "shock" the nation. usc is in another league compared to osu. Im not the only one.

Yea its an embarrassment for the Big Ten to have a team playing for the National Championship, and another playing in the Rose Bowl. Im sure they feel so embarrassed. The MWC is also 4-0 big damn deal.

Hell, look at the ticky tack nature of his violations at Colorado: http://bruinroar.blogspot.com/2007/12/on-neuheiel-and-ncaa-violations.html He got a violation for playing a game of H-O-R-S-E with a recruit and for going $3 over on a recruiting trip ($3 spent on Nintendo gaming). Yea the NCAA seemed to have it out for him, and now that they had to pay him that big chunk of change, he better dot every i and cross every T or UCLA will be on probation really quick.

This isn't an opinion on who should be the starting SS for the Cubs in 2008, the issue on hand is that now 3 children don't have a mother, and people feel the need to defend the scumbag responsible for this....it is quite disgusting. Thats ridiculous. Who in here has been defending him? Feeling sympathy, or empathy for somebody doesnt mean they are defending them.

I would recommend going to a couple of Peoria Rivermen games. relatively cheap and a pretty high quality of hockey. Most hockey fans are very happy to explain the nuances of the game to newcomers. Thats if you live in Pekin. The Chicago Wolves would be better if that is an option. Same level and league as the Rivermen but a better following. It is a lot funner live than on TV and once you really understand the nuances I think its a pretty exciting sport. Much more action than in FB or Basketball. Ive heard great things about Riverman games, but Ive just never made it over.

I thought the speech was horrible. He even used the phrase "polly anas" I dont even know what the hell that means. Basically it translated to me like "meh, you guys are going to lose, but you should at least try". Hes already passed the 50% senile mark. And yeah, he would make a speech pathologist cry. To each his own I guess. I thought it was good. Sorry man, but that can't be to each his own. Those speeches are some of the worst things on television. You got chills? Were you standing in a snow drift? :D Damnit, Im just ready for the Rose Bowl to get here, it wouldnt take much to get me anymore pumped for this game than I am. Its absolutely ridiculous how long of a lay off there is in college football.

I wish I knew, and understood more about hockey than I do. I follow baseball, pro and college basketball and football, and the NFL. However, where Im from hockey is not even really thought about, so Ive never once watched a game from start to finish.
