  1. I dont blame Turner for being pissed, as none of the replays showed a penalty.
  2. LMAO at Bob Sanders
  3. Every team has their "Les Walrond". Its called a minor league filler. If teams didnt have these guys they would struggle to field halfway competant minor league teams, and risk burning out the real prospects. The Cubs know Walrond isnt a major leaguer, but he fills an organizational need.
  4. Or maybe we could get Marquis' contract off the books? Just a question here and its probably been talked about and thought of way before I did. But would Marquis be a decent middle innings guy? He's durable, throws hard and is an innings eater. Just thinking out loud!!! Any way to lessen Marquis innings would be a good thing, however Marquis isnt known to be a real accomadating guy. When things arent the way he wants them, he is usually pretty vocal about it, so I highly doubt he'd accept a bullpen role quietly.
  5. Please sign with the Bears Michael Turner. Come home to Chicago man
  6. Welcome back Marvin
  7. Flagrant foul won't happen in Bloomington. In Champagne, I look for it to happen constantly. I think we pull out a close one. I hate playing a team that's playing so poorly, and obviously have something to get up for. But IU has the advantage of this being their first home conference game, and also having the students back in town, with the spring semester starting tomorrow. BTW, what is IDKWTI? Also, the Iowa win makes IU look a lot better. We beat them at home, no matter how ugly, while MSU lost. IDKWTI= I dont know who that is, its from the Illiniboard. It wouldnt surprise me if this game is close, but U of I cant pull out a close game with their abysmal free throw shooting. Also, I think you will see some pretty hard fouls on him today, not just in Champaign. In Champaign I just look for the Krush to give him hell all day, but I doubt the players care where the game is at.
  8. Ok so today is the day the Illini get to face IDKWTI. I fully expect the Illini to get their ass beat, which I can live with if at some point during this game somebody knocks the holy hell out of IDKWTI. Is that probably wrong, yes, but at this point in the season I dont care. Ill be pissed if there isnt a flagrant today.
  9. A's are eating over 5 million on this deal also. The Braves are only on the hook for like 2 mil or so.
  10. I love this rationale that because hes a broadcaster he knows more than myself or others on this board. Baseball is all about who you know and getting your foot in the door. I mean what was the trade that Stone advocated a couple years ago, Aram for who? Stone also thinks Theriot is good at baseball, enough said.
  11. Steve Stone is a good broadcaster. He needs to stick to that, because when it starts getting into baseball decisions hes not very good.
  12. Nice call by Del Rio.
  13. Bonderman the last two seasons: 14-8, 214 IP, 1.30 WHIP, 18 HR, 202/64 K/BB, 4.08 ERA, 112 ERA+ 11-8, 174 IP, 1.38 WHIP, 23 HR, 145/48 K/BB, 5.01 ERA, 91 ERA+ Bonderman's younger than Hill by about a year and a half. Other than that, I really don't see how you can objectively say Bonderman's a much better pitcher than Hill. Is Bonderman a mental midget like RICK Hill?
  14. Probably just a white piece of paper with 40 names on it :D
  15. Yea because with all that Hendry has done for the Cubs he definatly deserves a break. Jeesh guys lay off He has done more then any other recent GM Whats your point? Just because he hasnt been as terrible as previous GM's, doesnt mean he hasnt done a bad job. triple negative OH NO!!
  16. Go Jacksonville!
  17. Marcus Pollard wow thats 2 today.
  18. Damn refs for not tackling Grant, they are so in favor of the Pack its obvious.
  19. And they gave the packers a terrible spot which was only reversed after a challenge. They have made bad calls on both sides. Yes but that call can be challenged. Obvious DB interference can't be. Even the announcers are basically saying they could be called but aren't and the seahawks just have to deal with it Come on man, Green Bays offense is destroying Seattles D right now, and it has nothing to do with the refs. Outside of the first 3 mins of this game, Seattle has basically had their asses handed to them. that doesn't change the fact that green bay has adopted the NE model of pass D: if they are better than u, commit a penalty on basically every down and count on the refs not having the balls to call the penalties The refs could call a penalty on basically every play in every NFL game either on the lineman or the DB's, so whats your point? Seattle has had their asses kicked today, and the refs have played a very very very small part of that. Seattle away from home, is just an average team plain and simple.

  22. What'd he do now? First pass of the game for Seahawks, instead of actually trying to cover the reciever, he just lowered his shoulder and laid a big hit on him. Probably one of the most obvious pass interferences Ive ever seen
  23. Oh please. In a league where one team has had like 15 players arrested, one guy got 23 months in prison for animal abuse, and we have people like TO...Barnett is the biggest dumbass? Okay. Anyway, this one might be over before it even starts. Ok Ill just say that hes a big dumbass then.
  24. Nick Barnett might be the biggest dumbass in the NFL. What a jackass
  25. And it gets even better lol. Good job Ryan Grant fumble fumbleliah lol
