He'd look a lot worse if he shook everyone's hand and ignored Gordon. This is a kid that lied to him for months, I don't blame him for having some bad feelings to him. I'd rather he be the better man, but I can see where he's coming from. Especially after how painful these 2 losses to IU have been. Weber has just, in my opinion, tried to take the high road with this situation in his public comments. But to see him to a 180 as soon as he reaches Sampson goes against all that. Its not a big deal, just something I don't quite understand. If Sampson can walk through the line of Illinois players, Weber could do the same. Not the same thing at all the Illini dont have any players who lied to him for months like IU does.

Not going to scream, I agree to a point. They are 4-0 against UI, SIU, and Ill St though. So it looks silly for fans of those teams to contantly say how bad IU is. Why? Illini fans know we arent very good. And we have given IU all they could handle, and they have lost pretty easily to the 2 best teams they have played. I would think any basketball fan could see they are a flawed team, who will be lucky to make it past the 1st weekend of the tourney.

You are seriously asking this? I realize what Gordon did was awful and stupid, but if you want to make someone pay, beat him on the court. What he did was classless. It was a hard bump, who cares? It's Lent and all but IDKWTI doesn't deserve any more turning of the other cheek. If I saw Daddy death threat one more time on my tv I was gonna hurl a brick through it. They don't show Jordan in the crowd as much as him. And he's ya know, an actual celebrity, in the game of basketball. DDT is just a pathetic hanger on who couldn't have a career of his own. I hope IDKWTI Culkins his ass sometime in the near future. Then maybe he can latch on to whoever that ugly little kid was he had at the game with him. (And yes, bitter Illini face) Hahaha... This is some classic stuff. You disagree his dad is a pathetic attention whore?

IU is lucky Big Ten refs suck cause if they called Gordon for traveling all the times he does, IU would have trouble taking a shot. Read my post again, tell me where I said the refs gave them the game? Brinoch commented on the refs and I replied. You didn't. But Big Ten officials still suck. Dont think yo will find a person who argues you on that. how a team can be such poor free throw shooters as the Illini I have no idea. It is unexcusable

It also is hard to control the ball, etc. when you are getting hacked up. (Focusing on drives here.) I might point out, as well, that the Big Ten refs gift wrapped this game up for Illinois. Twice they gave Illinois foul calls with less than 5 seconds in the game. (If JaMarcus Ellis doesn't miss TWO lay up bunnies in the last 3 minutes of the game, IU wins without OT.) No way can you say they gift wrapped it for U of I. How about the non traveling call at the end of regulation that IU scored on? The refs sucked and U of I cant make a free throw, nothing new.

Out of all their losses they have only lost 1 time by more than 10. Its all because of free throw shooting plain and simple.

you love that the top recruit in the nation didn't sign on National signing day? yeah, that's the kid I want...the one who is 18 and already doesn't want to play by the rules because he thinks he's too good for him. yeah, he won't hold out of NFL camp in 3 years for a huge contract or anything. Hey Tyrelle, maybe you'd heard of Maurice Clarett? learn from the past Or it could be that hes an 18 year old kid, trying to make the biggest decision in his life so far, and hes still undecided. But I guess that would just be absurd and arrogant of him.

It's called a prediction. Id like to hear you basis for this prediction, cause the Astros rotation is horrible outside of Oswalt. Let's see, they have one of the most potent offenses in the NL (Berkman, Lee, Pence, Tejada) along with Oswalt and decent starters behind him (Backe, Wandy, Williams and Sampson). Their rotation was killed by injuries last season and these starters are all coming in healthy. Outside of the 4 names you mentioned their lineup is terrible. Also I think you are being very generous when you call the starters behind Oswalt "decent". They are all mediocre to below average starters that follow Oswalt.

Ive seen Wienke play, and I really wasnt that impressed. He comes from a very good program, but its also very very QB friendly. There is a big time difference in playing 1A-2A in Illinois, and playing in the Big Ten. Yeah it seems pretty mixed on him. I know a couple of guys who saw him in the playoffs and didn't think he was worthy of a Michigan offer. But he's a 6'4 200lb. QB with a big arm and some guys apparently thought he was good enough to go to the Elite 11 camp and get some nice offers. I've heard one of his biggest weaknesses is that he can have clumsy footwork. I think he'll definitely have a couple of years to develop. Absolutely everyone I know in Illinois and the evaluators raved about Jake Christensen coming out of high school. It wasn't all his fault last year, but he hasn't shown what everyone was expecting. My biggest concern with him would be his ability to read a D, and make throws against D1 level corners. 1A-2A in Illinois the kids dont know how to play CB, and basically any team with a QB who can throw decent can be good. Its just a huge step up from 1A-2A in Illinois to Big Ten football.

If Zook manages to pull Harper to Illinois I'd be blown away. He visited Illinois early before any other school, but he's also visited Miami and Florida State. His scouting report: He runs a 4.35 40! I'd call that blazing speed. I can't wait until Wednesday to see what he decides. He'd get every opportunity to play right away at Illinois. That's got to be a big plus to Zook's pitch. While I would love to see Harper at FSU, IMO he's headed to Clemson. Or at least that's what I've heard from my sources at FSU. If he goes to Clemson he will be waiting to see alot of playing time with their top running back coming back for his senior season. I wouldnt be surprised at all to see him at U of I, as Im sure Zook is pushing playing time hard with him. As it stands U of I's class looks damn good, but if we could land Harper, our class is tremendous. The speed being brought in by Zook is crazy. I cant wait to see Jarrod Fayson line up opposite Benn, and possibly Jenkins.
