  1. Info please. Hes feeling shoulder fatigue and is on the way to see the Dr once again. Check General baseball for the article
  2. Well looks like Mark Mulder may not be in Stl as quick as expected. http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/bird-land/bird-land/2008/05/mulders-next-start-uncertain/
  3. HAHAHA anybody see the latest on Mark Mulder?
  4. A single each, Cedeno's being a two-out, two-RBI single. Thanks man good to hear.
  5. No it isn't. But, why don't you read up on Jones a bit. You might sound less foolish. Let me help guide you, check on his dad also. i don't really care about Illini basketball. at all. I was just asking Thats odd because you always seem to have some kind of comment regarding U of I's basketball team. You know, like Penn States program passing the Illini's :D
  6. Hey could somebody fill me in on how Ronny and Felix have done tonight? I see Z has been great.
  7. Gordon and Deng are restricted free agents (Bulls can match any offer). Duhon and Shannon Brown are unrestricted free agents. I'd still prefer to see Avery Johnson here because at least with his system, he gives you a mix of both good offense and good defense. D'Antoni would be a good coach strictly on the basis that the Bulls will finally be an exciting team to watch again. But does anyone really think his system can lead to a championship? D'Antoni could be a moot point anyway because I'd be willing to bet that the Knicks are going to offer much more than the Bulls will. From what Ive seen and heard it doesnt matter to D'Antoni if the Knicks offer more, Chicago is where he wants to be.
  8. I dont know but it seems like everytime Z faces the Reds its Harang on the mound for them.
  9. It could be because of this typo Ha no I checked the spelling when I put it in the toolbar :P
  10. Odds of Pie and Cedeno BOTH being in the starting lineup, Id say about 20-80.
  11. Sammy Sosa was a [expletive] for talking to Jeff Pentland. ...okay... My point is, people keep looking for someone to blame/credit for Hill's failures/successes. The guy's 28 years old, he should be capable of working through difficult patches without people talking about how this pitching coach or that pitching coach isn't doing a good enough job. You are exactly right. He should be allowed to work through his tough patches, and by being pushed back, and skipped, and not starting for 9 days, thats not exactly letting him work through it. Hill was a top 30 pitcher last year yet Lou still had a short fuse with Rich. So this year our manager and pitching coach decide that one of the better pitchers in all of baseball the previous year, needs to change his mechanics. You tell me where that makes any sense. You dont fix something that isnt broke, but yet our manager has a fascination with trying to fix things that arent broke.
  12. 1-17 not lost by me, but yet we cant get Cedeno in the lineup with our starting 3rd baseman out.
  13. So lets see, Cedeno still hasnt started in over a week, yet we have a guy filling in for our injured 3rd baseman who is 1 for his last 17. Lets see if Cedeno can gain a start after Mike Fontenots night from hell. Now there is talk of the Cubs sending down Pie so he can work on his mechanics that Lou has been working on. We already have a pitcher in AAA now who]s mechanics Lou and Larry worked on. Heres a suggestion you damn moron, leave the 2 kids alone and let them play through their struggles a little bit, instead of trying to fix stuff that has worked to a high level of success in the past.
  14. I couldnt get on to http://www.nsbb.com or http://www.northisdebaseball.com just now but http://northsidebaseball.com worked. Not sure if its my computer or the site. Just thought Id let you know.
  15. Im glad that inning is over just so I dont have to hear these dumbasses talk about Ichiro and Matsui some more. :banghead:
  16. So now we know the secret to Skip Schumakers success. Working out with Mark McGwire hmmmmmm
  17. Marquis is trying to steal some Zambrano mojo. UGH Morgan and Miller
  18. Cause Spezio cant hold Bradley or Hamiltons jock? But we can steal some of the Cardinals magic pixie dust and make Spiezio an All-Star. Spezio has his own dust to bring with him, but I dont think we'd want it around our players.
  19. If we talk real nice to Jocketty, it just may be possible to get Dusty back. He may be more than happy to listen. As for me, I'll stay with Piniella and live with Cedeno and Pie on the bench. Nice to see you cant justify it either. The only thing Piniella brings that Dusty doesnt is Lou acknowledges OBP to an extent.
