Seriously what does this say about Hendry/Pinellas talent evaluating when we had pieces of crap like Rob Bowen, Koyie Hill, and Jason Freaking Kendall as out catchers last year while Soto raked in the minors? Seriously.

who also plays on sundays and torched the bears for 100 yards rushing and receiving. we're all going to see why thomas and mendenhall shared carries at illinois. We probably won't. Peirre racked up the yards because the Bears were crushing the Saints and were content to let them dump the ball off all game. He's a solid player but he's probably not going to get a whole lot of playing time this year. there's really an excuse for anyone racking up yards in any game. but thomas put on one of the best performances of anyone all year in that game. lol @ the thought that Forte is as good as Mendenhall Fixed

Yea how dare he not be able to beat out a future NFL running back who has had some success on Sundays. Forte will not be an every down back in the NFL like Mendenhall and I guarantee that.

What don't you like? I think it's been a fine draft so far. I would've preferred Albert over Williams in the first and a WR like Sweed over a RB in the 2nd, but Williams is a fine pick and Forte sounds pretty damn good, as does Bennett. The DT provides some nice depth for if/when Tommie and Dusty get hurt. Bowman is a solid CB, and I really like the Safety pick because it will probably help keep Archuleta off the field. I wish we would get a Guard, and I would've liked Johnson, but I'm hoping now we don't take a QB at all because I don't want someone like Woodson. There's been some interesting picks, but I don't think there have been any bad ones. The Forte pick was stupid. It was a reach, and there were much better players available in Sweed, or even Brohm. Honestly once Mendenhall slipped, I wouldve packaged some picks together and moved back into the 1st round to grab him. I hate the fact we havent taken a QB yet either. they wanted forte, i mean for god sakes the titans took chris johnson in the first round. if you want the guy get him.. i am upset they havent tried to get another starter on the line. They could have waited on Forte, there was no reason to pick him with that pick. Hell if you want him that bad move up after that pick and take him.

the bears essentially got Mendenhall in Forte. Forte has more mileage, but didnt cost them alot in picks as would have Mendenhall. Unfortunately, they Bears need much more then RB I don't think Forte is quite as good as Mendenhall. But Mendenhall doesn't have the track record that Forte has...Both have pros and cons. HAHAHA are you serious? Lets compare cometition, and stats. Conference USA vs Big Ten? Seriously Forte is not in the same league as Mendenhall.

I just hope if Lou does have Cedeno and Theriot in the lineup at the same time until Soriano comes back, that he does the smart thing and puts Ronny at SS and Theriot at 2nd. I know a couple games already this year Ronny has started at 2nd while Theriot was at SS, and well, thats pretty ignorant. Cedenos arm and range are wasted at 2nd base. The other night during Z's start when Reyes hit into the DP by an eyelash, Im about 100% positive that had Theriot been the one making that throw, Reyes is safe.
