    Yes, that was my point. And i think it's valid. As much as I'd hate to see lastella get meaningful PAs, you always one of Happ, Jay, Baez, Zobrist, Heyward on the bench along with Miggy and Lastella.

    I'm really beginning to think he (Happ) survives the activation of Heyward. But I don't think replacing Tommy LaSeala provides enough playing time. Any chance Almora (doghouse?) gets sent down?

    We really rebuilt that team on the fly in 2015. In addition to Lake, Mike Olt, Edwin Jackson, Phil Coke, Tsuyoshi Wada and Wellington Castillo all played for that team at some point. Only because all the good players had to start the year in the minors to delay their FA.

    That's just the Cubs batters whiffing. It's staggering the lefties and righties that gets you the cloud rotation.

    These Cubs do not understand 2nd place. They feel weird in 2nd place. Catchers pitching? All is weird. Time to fix it.

    Being human makes it harder to remove emotion from the equation that determines pissed off levels. Even when my head is like, "Dude, you're the defending world champs and (almost) everything sucks right now and you're still in first place." It's more like now that I've gone through a postseason run like that, it's hard for me to get all angsty about regular season games. It has numbed me to this stuff. I still enjoy the good stuff, but after the heightened emotions last year and how insanely on edge I was for that entire month of games, these games feel like a couple notches above ST games, which is something I've never felt in a regular season. I've said almost these exact words.

    Heyward, Russell, Zobrist and Schwarbs all have OPS lower than Javy's. Tell me again why I thought he was struggling?

    Joe maybe wants Javy's defense out there with Lester on the mound? Albert with back to back starts, that's nice. This as close to the all defence lineup as I'm going to get. Honestly it's as close as I want to get. Maybe Zobrist in LF and Schwarber as DH.

    No, Rizzo was playing even with the mound with Javy covering first play went 3-6-4 aha. I was watching with one eye, saw the end of the play, and saw someone slap lester on the butt on the way back to the dugout.

    I would love to see an all defense lineup. Not always, just once. Basically this lineup, but with Zobrist or Scissors in left.
