Also, Jerry Hairston Jr's 2-run HR (not a typo) off Manny Parra is the difference in a 3-1 score in the 5th between Cincy and Milwaukee.

I'm watching the O's-Rangers right now. Tied 3-3 in the top of the 5th, the teams have combined for 5 HRs. Pie drew a leadoff walk, and the next pitch was a hit and run with Izturis batting. He popped up the chin-high fastball, Pie had no idea where it went, and he got doubled off. Brian Roberts immediately followed by roping a single to right field and bringing his average up to .438, with Adam Jones (.981 OPS) on deck. How's that for in-game managing?

Do you refer to the cubs as "the cubs" or "us/we"?

I was having trouble figuring out when I used what but that sounds about right. I will say we at times outside of games like when someone asks what place are the Cubs in. I definitely never used "we" in that context in 2006. -
Off days blow. I like the way this team is looking so far, and I'll like it a lot more when Soto and Ramirez are back. I hope they all remind Marquis why he's not here anymore.

He doesn't expect much from Gregg either? Surely Gregg will get us through this without too much drama. It's 4 runs, come on now. No chance he'd do anything crazy and dramatic like give up a solo shot, then put two guys on so that the tying run comes to the plate in the form of a major homerun threat. No chance at all.

No one ever thought it would be. We've been down this road a lot with what Houston ownership did wrong to lead to this situation. It's their own problem for trying to ride out a direct hit from a hurricane.
