Thanks. WGN has sucked here in the past when all other channels worked and it was good everywhere else. Solid start for Dempster. It'll be fun if he's reliably studly all year long again.

I'm definitely not a big fan of The Natural theme after every homerun. Maybe I'm just bitter about the Indians getting hammered. -
I hear he's on the road right now, but will be online sometime shortly before gametime. I can't name my source, but trust me when I say it's someone who is very close and involved with the proceedings. (This source also says Peavy will be a done deal by first pitch. ;) )

I never gave them a 2nd thought until I moved to Texas. I almost want to embarrass them more than the Cards now. Just being stationed with an Astros fan is enough to make me share the same sentiment. I haven't been paying any attention at all to the Cubs since the playoffs, and I was really going to try to not get excited over opening day. I don't really have a choice though. Magic number is 163!!! \:D/ \:D/

I spent all off-season planning on going the way of the Braves "fan" and not giving a crap unless it's the second week of October and we're still around. Looks like I'll fall short of my goal. Again. Bring on baseball season :(
