I'm generally opposed to White Sox success, but I'm much more in favor of Cubs success, and the Cubs have a much better chance of success if the White Sox advance and the Rays don't.

?? If the Brewers win the WC, game 4'll be on at 9:30 central. That's 7:30 pacific. I seem to have forgotten that it would be Cubs Dodgers if the Brewers won the WC :oops: . The point stands - 930pm local time to start a game?

Am I reading this right? If the Brewers win the WC, will the Cubs be playing game 4 Sunday night starting at 930 central? That would also have game 4 out in LA starting at 3pm pacific. I doubt TBS is smart enough to allow for this, but I'm hoping the designation of which is series A and which is B can be switched throughout the series.

Meh. Hopefully stupid mistakes like this are less likely to happen in October if they happen and are corrected now. Hopefully it doesn't just indicate simple stupidity. And Come on, Go Dan.

Who was against the Cubs getting Piniella?

The first three pages of that Piniella thread had calls for both Zito and Bochy, which makes me think of the Hendry complaints in new light. I remember not having any opinion on Piniella but hoping that Girardi would be the one to get the job. :shrug: -
