I've seen this mentioned a few times now. I wonder if it really matters whether they start or not. Z, Harden, and Dempster have been around long enough for the Mets to know what to expect. Knowing what to expect and already being used to them are a little different. It makes it seem like the second start in a week against the same team would be a little more like pitching a fourth time through a lineup.
If the Mets series starts with any chance of them being the Cubs' first round opponent, I definitely don't want to see Z or Harden (or Dempster) starting against them. There's no reason to give them a look so soon before the playoffs.
I am a huge fan of Ronnie, but I could never make this statement with a straight face. Purely as a color commentator, he's nothing short of awful, but I enjoy him anyway.
FTH happened?? first explain to me what "FTH" is because I've been wondering for months. I googled it and it said something about World of Warcraft. Scroll down to the very bottom entry. Crap. Stupid word filter. Replace the asterisks in the URL with the F bomb. Speaking of F bomb, I'm not a fan of fatty fielder.

He earned the month off, especially with Lee coming back around. He's still a beast. I think DeRo will show up in October, at least moreso than last year.
Z turns out to be okay, pitches a decent game. Harden's arm is still attached and functional. Lee, Ramirez, Soriano all getting back on track. I'm getting a little more optimistic than I'm comfortable with, given the timing of all this...
