I've been pleasantly surprised as well. His argument for moving up Ramirez wasn't bad, and I'm in complete agreement that when you're talking the middle of the order, the L-R-L-R fetish needs to take a back seat to which spot would be best for the hitter.

I've barely golfed at all in the last year, and I'm scheduled to play a round at St Andrews at the end of May. Between now and then, I need to establish a handicap of 24 or lower, which is pretty much where I max out at. There's going to be a lot of lying involved.

Cubs put up a big showing on national tv, mainly because Suppan sucks at pitching and gets shelled. Dempster is solid, Lee gets 3 hits, Ramirez goes yard, Cubs win 8-2.

No, his hand was on the plate before Hill brought the glove over. That was a pretty easy call. Of course, he would have been out with a good throw. Too bad Ryan Theriot sucks at baseball.
