Due to unexplained sudden deaths in the crowd, tonight's paid attendance is 4K less than originally reported. Soto doesn't take crap from anyone.

Any chance they actually show the highlights of the game tonight? I'm guessing they focus strictly on the cat. They'll also replay the foul ball followed by the long look from Sori, and they'll show Dusty Baker in the dugout. They'll probably also compare all of those shots from tonight to the original shots, because they're pricks.

Strike zone looks pretty tight for owings. I thought there would be three called strikes in the last two batters, and they were all balls. Crap, soto just missed.

They technically don't even have a five spot right now. I don't remember what happened to whom, but they were saying that one of their starters is on the DL, and that spot was replaced with a reliever. They also replaced a position player with a reliever. Their bullpen is stocked with NINE freaking people right now. Otherwise they jeopardize their chance at the pennant? Either that or they stop wasting the roster spot on him and call up another reliever.

Pie just misplayed a flyball to left center, and it allowed David freaking Ortiz to get a triple. I'm thinking Felix won't be starting in Baltimore by the end of August.

I just learned that Jason Varitek and Derek Lowe went to Boston in a straight up trade that sent Heathcliff Slocumb (sp) to Seattle, back in 1997. Maybe that's old news to some of you, but hearing that made me all :shock: and wtf.
