    You didn't make it last year, either, eh? crap, forgot about that. I just remember being in the area most of the season and never missing when the Cubs came to town. the stupid schedulers put them on the wrong side of the country the wrong half of the year for two years in a row now.

    He'll be good all through this year, and his superior season performance will be a big reason the Cubs come back and make it to the playoffs, when a black cat in a goat mask will interfere with a would-be double play ball while future Cubs rally to keep us out of the World Series. Then he'll get hurt.

    He struggled with his command today, but he was definitely good, especially the last 2 innings. He shut 'em down. Yea, 3 BB in the first 3 IP, then stonewall for four innings.

    With the way Hill is pitching and our offense is performing, small ball unfortunately presents us better odds than I would think playing for a string of singles would do for us.

    And that's what happens when you don't protect. and major league hitters can't be afraid to strikw out on 3-2 pitches. You don't just take take take and expect to draw a lot of walks. Non-Cubs pitchers can throw strikes. There ya go.
