In fairness to him, the MVP argument is a pretty divided one, and he voiced his opinion, which was biased in his own favor. What a jerk. He also said Marquis isn't that good, which obviously has absolutely no ring of truth to it whatsoever. Again, what a jerk. These opinions were both on matters directly related to him. I'd say the pleasant five minute conversation with a stranger and 15 minutes of autographs for fans, regardless of their loyalty, says a lot more about him than those expressed opinions. In fairness to him he could have tipped his cap to both guys, you know like a professional. You really think that is how DLee would have answered either of those questions? He's one of the top three hitters in the game, and the media hounds him for his opinions. He's not terribly outspoken (a la Sheffield or Artest), but if his give a [hoot] factor is low, he speaks the truth. Yes, he's not the solid professional that Lee is, but he simply expresses his opinions about his own profession. We've all got those opinions, and we all know what opinions are like, and everyone's entitled to not like him for it. I just think those reasons are pretty weak.
