  1. E) All of the Above. But mostly Flint Ironstag.
  2. What's their record when they give up 12 runs or more?
  3. He's tempering our expectations already. He must know something we don't. .238/.291/.379
  4. If it's dragged out long and slowly enough, even a train wreck can become dull and played out.
  5. Yep. Too much tl;dnr, not enough actual trolling.
  6. All that momentum from those early escape jobs and the Maholm HR sure didn't carry very far.
  7. Yea, he really Howry'd the bed in that 9th inning, but he was rescued by the offensive heroics of studs like Koyie Hill, Jacque Jones, and Alfonse Soriano.
  8. "Jones is in! Here comes Koyie Hill... CUBS WIN! This was in middle of the winning streak that got extended to 7 games by ARam's walkoff against Milwaukee. It's the only thing that comes to mind when I try to remember exciting moments involving Koyie Hill.
  9. Cubs vs a lefty. Should be good. Go Cubs.
  10. thumb injury, shoulder injury, shoulder injury, nothing, velocity drop Morrison was dealing with a leg injury at the beginning of the year - forget if it was hammy or knee.
  11. Len said it was only the 6th time in mlb history it happened. One of them was Frank Thomas but I didn't hear if Len gave the other names. Cool thanks for sharing. Sure would be nice to have access to Len Len and Bob right now, but in all fairness to Hawk, he becomes infinitely more bearable when his team is getting obliterated.
  12. He could be going all Wakefield, longevity-wise, and just now hitting his prime.
  13. He did the same with Soto's HR. It was pretty entertaining.
  14. That's gotta be a pretty short list of names DeJesus just landed on.
  15. Great hit for Soto. Glad to see him line it the other way instead of rolling over for 6-3.
  16. Once he had the lead, he only resorted to the fastball when he was down 3-0 and needed the strikes. Prior to Ike Davis's grand slam, my perception from half paying attention was that he would only throw a couple fastballs per inning. The movement alone was nothing short of nasty, and when he has command of all four corners of the strike zone, changes speeds, and gets the benefit of the call on a lot of close pitches, the hitters don't really stand a chance.
  17. I'll just flip around and watch my fantasy hitters. I won't even try to put up with Hawk.
  18. Betemit lines a base hit. Dickey was an out away from a 13th hitless. He's now up to 38.2 IP since his last allowed ER.
  19. R.A. Dickey has a no-hitter through 4. It's not live-look-worthy, but it is now 12 consecutive IP without allowing a hit. He has allowed a BB.
  20. Theo needs to deal Soriano for a set of clippers and some duct tape, so he can fix Samardzija's hair.
  21. I wonder if Francona is still going to talk Pedroia up for doing everything wrong now.
