    He only totaled 7.1 IP thru his first two starts, with a 7/7 K/BB and a 2.45 WHIP and an ERA over 9. Today he blanked the Dodgers for 6 innings with 6K/1BB and only 1 hit allowed.

    In Mike Minor's previous 9 starts, his runs allowed are 6, 6, 4, 4, 1, 1, 4, 4, and 4. He only made it out of the 6th inning in two of those starts.

    I guess I should test my theory against the most extreme circumstances before arriving at such a conclusion. Lesson learned.

    It was all good fun. I've probably been to 10 or 12 Cubs games at Turner over the last 11 years, and I've never had a bad experience with anyone there. Also, having a toddler at a game changes everything. It's like having complete douchebag immunity*. *Offer not valid at the cell, apparently.

He absolutely LOVED whenever the tomahawk chop broke out. We're never taking him back. Braves fans thought it was hilarious, so I couldn't resist getting him to do it on all the Cubs HRs.

    Stuck listening to Chip. He explained what happened in the Castro play last night, but he had to preface it by saying that Castro made a real head-scratcher (RIZZO!!) and emphasizing his reputation for being stupid in the field. :?

    Trout scratched from tonight's lineup with a bruised pinky suffered from a headfirst slide, listed as day-to-day.

    He's been a decent hitter the past few years but this is on another level. I keep waiting for him to fall back down to earth a little. Won't happen tonight. Went yard in the first inning.
