    Bryant walkoff vs. the Rockies and Rondon vs. the Giants for me also. Having good seats for Lester's 14 K game vs. the Rockies two days after the walkoff was awesome. That no hitter wasn't bad either.

    Maybe I'm missing what you meant but the Giants series didn't start until August 6th. We won on the 29th too (Lester 14 K game I was at), so since that ugly Beeler start vs. the Rockies (that I was also at unfortunately) to drop to 52-47, it's 27-10.

    the video game move is coghlan playing at 2B, not RF, which we've done, you crazy ass weirdo True. But as good as the offense has been lately, they're not good enough to survive a world with Coghlan at 2nd and Bryant and Schwarber at the corners. And Fowler isn't exactly Lorenzo Cain in center. What?

    He likely learned English by speaking it with others and not from a book like we would, so I imagine he probably types like he talks. Also, it's freaking awesome and he's great. Other than Lester just a little bit, there's really not one guy on the entire team who's unlikable. People are off on Lester, I love that guy.

    You kind of are. Professional athletes play the games they play because they are highly compensated to play them. There is a competitive angle to it all but a guy with a ring isn't going to be all that excited to go to a team that has a chance of making the wild card game. This is his job. Don't think of it as a never ending search for postseason glory. It's a job. There's no kind of about it.

    I don't really want him anymore. Maddon can make it work with Coghlan, Castro, Baez. And I really just want Starlin to be a positive contributor to the first good team he's ever been on. This 4-5 he's on is enough to get me hopeful again.

    I was only 5 at the time but Maddon's moves lately remind me of what The Boys of Zimmer told me happened in '89.

    I like being aggressive but it wouldn't have just taken a decent throw or relay. Basically anything that wasn't spiked or thrown to the backstop was going to have him out by a wide margin. That ball was ripped and he was 2-3 steps away from 3rd when the LF had it and not all that deep.
