Worth a shot; let's bring Aramis along for a little extra help. Great picture, can we re-size it slightly smaller? Or does it only show up huge for me?
Gammons was on MLB Network talking about possible A's trades and said they were working on a deal with the Cubs for Reddick that fell through. No timeline or details.
Maddon said today that Strop (and Wood I think) was unavailable yesterday and he couldn't use Rondon beyond 3 outs. He thought the bullpen wasn't deep and his thought process was to have Szczur get that run and get Rondon in to close it, not worrying about Rizzo having another AB. Still wish he would've gone Rondon in the 9th instead of Montgomery.
Spiegel asked him about that exact situation and Joe basically said that the playoffs are different in late innings. But then talked about guys having such set routines and not wanting to mess with that.

Rizzo's locker next to Bryant's, Fowler's next to Heyward's, Lester in between Ross and Lackey, Soler next to Strop. Then laid back, reserved Schwarber is paired next to goofball Kawasaki.
Late but damn I'm so horsefeathering happy about this. He became one of my favorite recent players last year. Love that guy being a Cub, and it gives us even more certainty, depth and options. They just keep making this team better, it's unreal.
Just took care of business and handled another bad team on the road easily with the game never in doubt. Even while not shooting well for most of the day and Uthoff being off. This season is so fun.
