  1. Why even waste 3 batters in the first place with this guy.
  2. Why isn’t Palencia available? He’s thrown 1 inning since he returned.
  3. Bregman has to leads the league in at bats with a 1-2 count.
  4. Was Jesse’s source an onion article?
  5. Good to see Busch crush a Peter high fastball 420 feet into the right field bleachers. Not the sexiest win streak (+15 RD) but at least there’s no bad losses that’ll bite them in the ass in September as of now.
  6. When they’re good and we suck they destroy us. When we’re good we’re lucky to sweep them in any given year. Outside of 2015 and 16 they’ve always been a nuisance. Marty brennamans rant added another layer of salt. I could be off base but that’s what this rivalry feels like. It’s also mandatory that they have at least 1 Cub killer in their lineup like Austin Kearns, Votto, Suarez, Any of the Valentin brothers. Etc I’m still pissed about 2004 as well.
  7. Better problem to have than choosing the less stinky sh!t end of the Berti/Brujan stick as the starting third baseman. I think we’ll see him split some time with Mo at DH more frequently.
  8. The trade off is we might see career scrub/Cub killer Randal Grichuk in a couple weeks in a Whitesox uniform, a career 761 OPS with a 961 vs Cubs pitching in 200 PAs.
  9. The third base and bench alone is worth 1.5 more wins than at the 35 game mark a year ago. This is a completely different offense with Suzuki too. It’s just so frustrating how streaky he is because when he’s on he’ll carry an offense.
  10. That’s odd. The pull% for 2025 is the exact same on Fangraphs but for 2025 it’s at 46.8%.
  11. Fangraphs has his pull rate 9% lower and his GB% over 9% higher than 2025. It’s like he’s playing with an injury.
  12. Cabreras velocity and Ks/9 especially are all down from his career averages.
  13. On a consecutive game basis the offense this season is averaging +\- 3.4 runs/game in any 2 game splits at the 34 game mark. Last season they were +\-5 run average during the 34 game mark. Much less volatile even after adjusting for the difference in runs scored.
  14. I wish he’d keep the Whitesox and sell the Bulls instead.
  15. The Cubs traded Cassie with 2 aging corner outfielders in favor of Moses who doesn’t even have a position and it’s looking more and more obvious why.
  16. I get chills when I hear his signature “BUH BYE” home run call. He’s the best.
