  1. The regret was not taking Jayden McPeNix and the haul, but never Drake Maye, the actual top qb prospect from that draft class from our vocal fanbase for all of last year. He was never part of any haul hypothetical for some unexplainable reason. It’s quite comical the pivot from fields and MHJ to some combination of the non Maye or Caleb quarterbacks to now “Maye better”.
  2. Accuracy matters, completion percentage is context dependent and one component of quarterback efficiency. Mason Rudolph’s completion% was 20% higher yesterday. Caleb’s 8.04, the stat with the highest correlation with wins and losses, even higher than passer rating. Not to mention the scramble yards. Who played better? It’s the NFL stat version of batting average. With his use of his legs, avoidance of negative plays like sacks and interceptions he’s netting 6.5 yards per drop back which leads to long sustained drives and points. But yes, he needs to improve on his accuracy, the margin for error will be non existent during this 6 game stretch.
  3. If Caleb pulled an Eli rumor was Poles had McCarthy as his QB2 and was his backup plan. Bullet dodged.
  4. Giants are losing games like the Flus era Bears.
  5. The 5th stringers came through. Nicely done.
  6. Way to pin that. Well worth a 4.
  7. Problem is we won’t have the ball last.
  8. It’s never horsefeathers easy with this team.
  9. Monangai just takes the easy yards. Never gets cute.
  10. Add to this horsefeathers lead.
  11. Nice response to the bad penalty.
  12. I can stomach these misses if he could connect on vertical passes. He can’t. I can think of literally one off the top of my head, the flea flicker.
  13. Nice job containing the edge there.
  14. Loveland creates so many matchup advantages.
  15. What did everyone expect? These linebackers are preseason backups going against an NFL offense.
  16. This is what a defense looks like with preseason backups starting at linebacker against regular season NFL starters.
  17. The Bears linebacking unit consists of preseason backups today. With the current injuries they’re as bad as any unit right now. 30 Points is more than doable for a Steelers offense who’s already done that 3X.
  18. Edmund’s was just put on IR. What a great time for the defensive injuries to pile up with out last shot at beating king f*ck face.
  19. Good news then. They’ll need a couple lefties too. Regardless, any regression from the bullpen you’d think will be offset by an improved and a healthy rotation where Ben Brown and Flexen aren’t pitching 2/5 games for month long stretches. I don’t always know what to believe, that’s what great about this website. I’ve learned a lot from you.
  20. Am I out of line for thinking it’s a big loss? Their musical chairs approach to bullpen construction worked to perfection last season, will that same approach yield similar results in 26 or something closer to the 23-24 iteration where they were a liability for long stretches of both years, probably somewhere the middle. Pomeranz and Thielbar blew away everyone’s expectations.
  21. Any word on Keller?
  22. How could I confuse Jed with Theo. You’re right. The money will be used wisely on multiple players with low 80’s ratings in MLB The Show 26 to bring us home 88 wins.
  23. He said no thanks to the 4 years, $199.99 million offer ( Jed couldn’t get permission from Tom to make it an even $200 million) because someone would offer him double.
