I get that some folks (not you, just generally speaking) think the resources are better spent elsewhere due to how good the offense already is and how average the starting pitching is right now - but there is no way I want that dude getting 30 plate appearances in a 7 game playoff series vs the Phillies or Dodgers. His time will come, but it isn't right now. Cubs have to address that position with some kind of a trade, whether it's Castro, Suarez or someone else.
