    disagree. one time he posted a bunch of pictures on twitter of how he was riding a trolley in san francisco and it broke down or something. i am extremely interested in a series of short films in which jesse is like the cooler of cubs road city tourist traps and gets stuck inside the statue of liberty or has the space needle fall on him or whatever. definitely no baseball opinions though.

    this is where i stand as well. even if you think you can do something without breaking the rules, you’re probably wrong and the umpires will call everyone out and the other team will get mad at you. slide hard, directly into base, and don’t overslide the base. if the pivot man is an idiot and happens to be where you slid, great! double play broken up and no one can say anything. if the pivot man does his job and is gets out of the way, you still put the pressure on him to do everything right since he couldn’t just use your dumbass slide as an excuse to get free outs. plus nobody gets hurt!

    the crazy thing is rizzo also drastically improved in these areas and became another votto like 4 years ago. like we already had one guy decide to become joey votto while in the big leagues and now we have two rizzo is like votto in that he got his strikeouts to match his walks, but votto does that while walking way more and hitting well over .300. last year with the k and bb matching rizzo had a 133 wrc+. votto has eight seasons with a wrc+ of 155 or better. i love tony but he isn't votto.

    May this be the only thing the Duke’ster horsefeathers up for the next few weeks I did say in the original post that anything from the Coen brothers' extended universe would be allowed, which would include the tv show. But I only did that to shoehorn in a couple gifs. So I'm OK with not including it going forward. We'll also need a ruling on Bad Santa, which the Coen brothers helped re-write and produce. However, much to the dismay of Bill Murray, Garfield: The Movie will not be acceptable in these threads. REAL TALK i made that initial post assuming you’d ask for latitude to include stuff they were only close to and then i was going to post garfield gifs. horsefeathers you for cutting me off in advance.
