    That's awesome. I had to follow Euro 2004 online so being able to watch the next one is excellent. Euro 2004 was an amazing storyline to follow and extremely frustrating it wasn't available on U.S. television. I still can't believe Greece won. It was available, you just had to shell out $150 for the whole thing. My buddy did it.

    If you told me in 2003 that Prior would be battling for the #5 starter slot and Kerry would be a middle reliever in 2007 I woulda just shot myself in the head.

    Oh a better note, the Derby Della Capitale is this weekend. Greatest spectacle in calcio. Well, as long as the tifosi let the game happen, which they didn't a couple of years ago. My favorite memory is listening to the game on the internet the year after I got back from Rome, with Vincenzo Montella scoring 4 goals in a 5-1 victory. After goal #4, Carlo Zampa, the announcer, screamed "Ti amo, Vincenzo!" continuously for about 2 minutes. Gonna go watch it at Ginger's this year. Unless I'm really hungover. In which case I'll watch it from my couch.

    I enjoy the fact that all of us soccer lovers, who enjoy discussing the minutest of things in ridiculous detail, are all so disgusted by what has happened with the USMNT that we've resorted to three word postings.

    I don't wish Hendry ill, not even as a joke, but he better recover so he can stand behind what he has put together. So if he were to die you would be mad that he is not around to take the criticism? Ridiculous. Some of us may not agree with Hendry's signings, trades, and philosophies but if the 2007 Cubs fail it will not be due to lack of effort on Hendry's part. Maybe this team will recognize how hard Hendry worked for them this offseason and return the favor on the field. I don't think that a generalized opinion on how hard the GM worked in the offseason is what really drives most baseball players to play winning baseball.

    Do you value Mr. BB himself Carlos Marmol anywhere near Hill? Hill is ready to go NOW. Marmol has great stuff but is still a year or two away IMO. Strangely enough I put Mateo over Marmol RIGHT NOW. Can Marmol play shortstop? He has a higher career OPS than Izturis. He used to be an outfielder, if memory serves me correctly. outfielder and catcher

    Sign me up for Jews for Church. He can hate my matzah eating arse all day as long as he puts up some numbers. I think this is getting really ridiculous. Someone told him that Jews are going to hell and from what i can tell, his heart went out to them. How does that turn into him hating Jews? If he would have said, "good, let 'em burn" that would be something you could get on his case for. Some Christians think all Jews go to hell, some Jews think all Christians go to hell (and yes, many Jews do believe in a hell or something similar). Thats the situation we're in. Sorry to go off on a rant, but the Church-mocking is getting out of hand. I'm sorry you're going to hell. *Looks around* We're not already there? not until we sign Gil meche
