The guys at MLBTR are predicting Fowler to get a 4 yr, $62mm deal. I would be fine with him at that price, even a little more. A. His skill set is not likely to significantly decline, even if he regresses a little he would still be good B. It would allow Heyward to stay in right, and keep a solid defensive outfield even with Schwarber in left. C. It would lock down the top half of the order for the next four years (Fowler, Schwarber, Bryant, Rizzo; with Zob being in the 5th spot for the time being, but Contreras, Heyward, Russell able to move in as they develop/bounce back) D. It would allow the Cubs to move Soler/Almora etc for a pitcher/pitchers
