I would assume so. They don't really have another starter worth sending and that way they can use him in game 7 if it gets that far. -

Ifeel like Javy's skill caused that to be an error. Any other player and it hits his chest and drops at their feet, Javy won't let it drop and tried to catchy it barehand midair.

Russell hasn't been hitting since mid-August. He got up to an OPS of .781 on August 22nd. From there to the end of the season: .187/.261/.308 for an OPS of .569. If he is starting, he should be batting 9th again.
