it's so weird to me hwo a guy like this ends up in a trade at all (like, "we'll only do this trade if you throw in 23 year old mediocre A baller RASHAD CRAWFORD), but then i guess i probably would've thought the same about josh donaldson 8 years ago. I mean, at least Donaldson was like a first round pick. Although maybe Crawford was, too. I don't even know who he is. 2012 11th round. Donaldson was an actual prospect when he was traded, but nobody expected him to become an MVP caliber player. -
Honestly, that was a horrible call by the ump. Looking straight at it and farted out a safe call.

The Braves did when they were in Milwaukee, but the Brewers (even the one year in Seattle) haven't.

I'd say the Cubs lost that trade...but not really (Castro has a -0.2 fWAR and is owed another $40 million over the next 4 years). That being said, time for Warren and Richard to be relegated to somewhere esle. Give Patton and Pena a shot. Hell, give Concepcion a shot, he's holding lefties to a .293 OPS so far this year.

Bradley has some good stuff but it looks like even Castillo isn't sure of where it's going. Where he sets up seems to have little bearing on where the ball is going - he's set up on the inside part of the plate and had the ball be on the outer half twice in this Rizzo AB.

Eh, not a bad send. Nobody is really expecting Ross to run, so it was a lot closer then it should've been. Out, and the top of the order leads off next inning. Safe, runner on second with a hot hitter up.
