    Memories of this game just make me sad... I start thinking of what might've/should've been... I know Kerry's made millions of $$, but I can't help but feel bad for him that he couldn't become the pitcher we all thought he'd be

    I'll be honest and say that I didn't want Lee... I was excited about the Soriano signing, even though I knew the length of the contract was insane. Also, I'm not sure how anyone can say they know for a fact that Kosuke wouldn't have a problem w/ being moved to CF. He was supposedly promised RF......much like Sori was supposedly promised the lead-off spot. Then again, in Lou's bizzarro, inconsistent world, a promise made to Kosuke is different from a promise made to Sori...

    Let's trade Marquis to a Japanese team in exchange for another translator for Kosuke--then he'd have one for home games, and another for road games. We then wouldn't have to worry about road/home splits for his current translator.....

    But Reed made that highlight reel catch @ Washington. Doesn't that mean he should start every every day?

    I voted "10-15", but it'll be the low end of that range, I think... We'll be lucky to not get swept by the D-backs this week, and could easily lose 2 of 3 to the Reds given the pitchers we face.

    I think some of us should get together, and for the good of the Cubs, "disappear" Marquis so Gallagher gets an extended shot at the starting rotation.... By "disappear", I mean sneaking him onto the roster of another NL Central team so the Cubs offense can tee-off on him..

    Yeah...Pie isn't getting playing time anyway... I'd rather get a #2 pitcher though

    That is a hideous comparison. I don't remember anyone ever painting educators with a broad brush like some people do the military. Maybe not on a broader scale, but certainly w/in communities it can happen. In my hometown, a teacher was busted several years ago for illicit affairs w/ a couple students....ALL teachers are suspect in the eyes of parents there, and I don't see it going away anytime soon.

    Apparently... I guess "my country, right or wrong" still lives strongly... I support our troops as much as anyone, but..... And it has nothing to do w/ Cuban being the owner of the Cubs

    I just hope Marquis reeks to a lesser extent than Wellemeyer.....and I hope it's not close late since Lou wisely chose to use up Marmol w/ a 6 run lead today...

    O.K. I take it back, if Lou's gonna use Marmol like this, then let's make him the closer... At least then he's being used when the Cubs have < 4 run lead

Plus he chokes up a lot on the bat. And Reed can grow an amazing goatee and hes white & he tries hard
